The pavilion tends to intensify the transition between
the dense bushes on the land and the wide view over the water. The experience
of the wide view is delayed by a route along a cutting out. Two glass
facades of this cutting out are covered with vertical slats, this accentuates
the cutting out as it opposites the horizontal slats that go around the
box. It also introduces a play with the light and changes the perception
while walking along and looking trough the two slatted screens.
At the far end of the building light is falling between the slats of the
south facade, the viewer is attracted to open the folding doors to experience
the view and the light.
